About our school

Charlestown South Public School is a small, friendly, family school. It provides a stimulating, stable, caring environment where all students may achieve their potential. Staff have close contact with students and their families. A shared pride and partnership exists between teachers, parents and students. The school climate allows education to be valued and widely supported. The school aims to: Provide all students with the opportunity to experience a wide range of educational programs, leadership roles of responsibility and success; provide enriching quality educational programs ranging from basic skills to social and cultural development in a caring, pastoral environment; and ensure that children move towards self discipline and moral autonomy.
